Microchips for pets and lojacks for cars help people find them when they’re lost or stolen. Considering the insane # of child abductions in this country, why isn’t the same technology used for children?
Ha…yeah I guess I did miss the big argument about this topic!

Of course, yeah, it would be strange to have it in you as an adult, I was really just thinking about children. I don’t think small children know or care about the government keeping tabs on them! So, yes, I was thinking along the lines of something that is implanted under the skin at birth and then removed later on.

I’m not a religious person, so the bible doesn’t play into my topics of discussion.
I see there’s a mix of opinions on this topic. Interesting.

Yes, microchips need to be scanned by someone, but the technology used by Lo Jack doesn’t.

Hi, next month i will be moving house a long way away. This will involve a 12 hour car journey and im worried about how my 2 cats will take such a journey. I have taken one of my cats to the vets before and all the way she did a really weird meow, kind of like she was in distress. When we went to pick her up a few days later i sat her in the cage on my lap and she peed all over me (it was disgusting, almost threw up) and did the same meow, so she must have been scared. That was only a 15 min drive, how is she gonna cope with a 12 hour drive? I was thinking about sedatives but as they are both getting on in age (about 12 years old) i am worried it will be bad for them. Im not sure what to do, can anyone please help me? Thank you.
They wont be in the trunk coz my 2 dogs will be in there. They will be on the back seat and have plenty of room. But as i said one of them was really distressed when she went to the vet and she was on my lap so there was plenty of room for her.
Our car has a big trunk and the dogs go in it every time we take them for a walk to the park so dont worry, its plenty big and we will be making regular stops to let the dogs out. THank you for all your suggestions.

My cat has some weird issue with our other cats…
Two years ago we got two kittens and at first he didn’t seem like he had a problem with them but now if he even goes around them or theu walk past him he starts growling and hissing. (Even if they aren’t even doing anything he ducks down, puts his ears down, and starts growling and hissing)
We have three other cats that we got before him and he doesn’t have a problem with them. But he just really hates the other two.
What is his problem?
