dmbfan asked: I’m looking for a fast, non-toxic and inexpensive solution, preferably from someone who has had success with preventing them from entering into their yard. I have a fenced yard, and having two large dogs does not deter the cats from coming in. Tragically, the dogs have killed 3 cats already that came into the yard.

Mercury asked: I am talking about neutered male cats, not un-neutered Tom cats. I heard that neutered males are more mellow - they eat and just sit around the house like marshmallows. Females are more nosey and tend to communicate their needs more. Do you have an opinion, experience?

Marie asked: Is there any way to home cook a good cat food? I have 7 cats, 5 of my own and 2 belong to my adult son who is living with us. The animals are members of my family and we want to provide the best and not have to worry whether they will die from some commercial pet food on the market. I know that cats need taurine. I am going to try study on what is essential in a feline diet and try to cook a healthy food at home for them. Is this possible?Anyone know of a company that uses good quality meats and grains to make their product?

kgshere asked: There are so many name brands that have been using that poison from China - brands that I have trusted. I want to buy foods that are only from USA products. Foreign nations may not give a (bleep) about my pets, but I love them and want to keep them safe and healthy. I do not want to buy anything in the future that has any product in it that is from a foreign nation. The risk, as we have seen, is way too high. Is there a brand of pet food (both dog and cat) that is 100% made in the USA from 100% USA products?

FrenchieMom asked: We’re moving to the Minneapolis, MN area and need to find some place that has dog daycare, where the dogs can have supervised play. We’re not looking for a kennel where the dogs are crated most/all of the day. Thanks in advance!

Chihuahua Lover asked: I have a 14 week old female chihuahua puppy who very recently developed a very inflamed rash in both of her ears. There is not odor coming from her ears that I can smell. I am planning on taking her in to my veterinarian, but I can’t take her in until this weekend because my car broke down. I asked my vet what I can do to relieve my baby’s ears until I can take her in and he said to use some aloe vera gel. When I went to get some for her, they had aloe with Lydocaine, and aloe 100% pure. I’m not sure if the Lydocaine will hurt her if she scratches her ear with the stuff on, and then licks her paw after, or if one of my other dogs licks it off cleaning her ears. I don’t know which one to buy. Also I was wondering if you had any other suggestions on how I can bring some relief to her. I feel so sorry for her! Should I use Neosporin or Hydrogen Peroxide? Something that will not bring her more discomfort when I put it on her ears!Thank You! Serious Answers Only Please!
