How do you get your cats ready for a dog?

I have 2 cats around 11 years old and want to get a dog. Not sure how to introduce them I guess. I know it sounds silly, I guess I am affraid that the cats will freak out and never be the same. They are both girls and in great shape., They don’t like each other but tolerate each other. Thinking about an Old English Bulldog
The dog I have in mind has been around cats and just ignores them. Only one year old dog.

How do I get rid of 15 wild stray cats without also getting rid of the three strays that I take care of?

Do you think true animal lovers actually care for their pets?

I think that most of them do, and true animal lovers would always play with their pets, and put them in any fun activities that they can. For example, at PetSmart, if you were a true animal lover you would spoil them rotten! Does anyone agree? If so leave a comment!
