Is it ever going to be the law that all dogs must be fixed except for dogs used for breeding?

Is there a special thing veterinarians do to cut dogs’ toenails?

My dog acts very terrible when my sister and I try to cut her toenails. She gets so upset and one time even pooped while we were trying. It is not possible for us to cut them. When she gets them cut by her doctor or one of the people there she is calm and just lets them do it. Does anyone know if they push on a pressure point or have some secret thing they do to get her to be calm?

How do I get my cats to stop peeing everywhere?

I have two cats, and I love them to death, but they pee everywhere.
They didn’t do it at our old apartment, and in our new apartment, the carpets have been steam cleaned twice and the previous owners did not have cats, nor did the people before them.
They have been fixed, and I clean their cat box regularly. I have no idea what is wrong!!
An ex-friend told me that they have these things that are like Glade plug-ins that spread pleasing pheromones (sp?) that keep the cats from peeing, but I don’t know what they’re called. Does anyone else?
We haven’t been able to set up a second litter box because there just isn’t enough room here. Rubbing their noses in it doesn’t help, and I am at my wits end!! I don’t want to get rid of my cats, but I don’t know what to do if they don’t stop!!
I called it “new”, but we have been in this apartment–with the cats–for over a year.

the thing with chemotherapy is that it makes you more susceptible to diseases. It would have to be something that wouldn’t possibly get sick.

How do people feel about the hurricane Katrina victims not being allowed to get their pets back?

The people who had adopted them said that those poeple had abandoned their pets, when in fact most were forced to leave their pets behind. Now they are being told they cannot have their animals back. I felt so bad i actually wanted to take them home, but i have quite a few dogs and I know i wouldve had a problem. But i wanted to know if there are more societies that accept homeless pets and give them up for adoption instead euthanizing them.
