Ran C asked: I live in a city. My house is an apartment building, eight floors high, I live on the first floor. We plan adding a balcony to each and every one of the building’s apartment. Since our place is on the first floor, we would like to find a way to block street cats from entering our balcony.
How can it be done?

itsme asked: i have some small rock left over from my fish tank can I use that instaed of sand or gravel in the bottom of my Terrarium?also half the sites I read say that I should put moss over the rocks and then out the soil on, but the other half don’t say anything about moss. Can I do it without moss? And if not does anyone have any idea how expensive a little moss is?
Thanks

St. Nearly asked: We have no dogs, our yard is visited in the early morning by neighborhood dogs that pee on our plants and deposit long shiney turds in our lawn.
This morning an added bonus: huge hordes of black flies.
Anything normal and rational we can do? We have to rely on our own recourses; Aninal Control is not interested.
I work nights, am not there to watch for them and then run after them with squirt guns full of ammonia; and my wife is not the type to do that sort of thing.

cduppass asked: We recently tilled up our front yard and planted grass seed. It appears that some of the neighborhood cats like to use one area of the lawn as their own personal litter box.

hosea_baker asked: We have at least 2 neighborhood cats that will not stop pooping in our bushes, in front of our house. We have to keep the windows shut because of the smell!
