nathalie asked: I recently found out that the apartment I will be moving into in a few months, does not allow any pets! I have a 3 month old yorkie puppy that I got about a month ago who I’ve grown deeply attached to. She rarely barks and is pretty small. Do you think I can get away with having her in the apt anyway? Has anyone done this?
(Finding a different place is not an option)
I did not know they did not allow pets when I got the puppy or when I applied for the apartment. Obviously I wouldn’t have gotten it if I knew.

e.wrenn asked: he’s a 5 yr old portuguese water dog. he started biting people in the last year or so…we have tried everything, medication/obedience training/specialists but he still sometimes snaps at people (usually joggers and bikers) when we’re on walks and the vet has told us we’re out of options and he has to be put down…i was wondering if anybody knows about sanctuaries or homes for agressive dogs, preferably in the bay area so my family and i can visit.

Felice asked: Hello,
I took my dogs to the vets today.I feed high quality/organic dog food.Anyhow one of my dogs was having minor allergies and the vet said it was because my dog was probably allergic to colors.I have to admite I once in awhile give them the treats that have colors instead of holistic treats. Is this true and has anyone else hear it?Thankyou.
The vet says breeds like English Bulldogs are especially sensitive to them.Like colors found in foods such as Beneful.Example:Blue 2,Red 40….

Jack Flash asked: I suspect other dogs find her unattractive because after first meeting her, they ignore her. I haven’t had her spayed since I am hoping for puppies but nothing ever happens. I put her in with male dogs all the time…
What can I do to make my dog more desirable to other dogs?
Help!

Mrs?xoC asked: I’ve heard K9 Advantix, Advantage, Frontline Plus, Revolution… Many to choose from. I am looking for something safe and the best quality. My dogs have never had a flea problem, but we’ve moved and now that the colder months are setting in, it seems the fleas are trying to find themselves a home before the winter comes. I heard Revolution will break the cycle of fleas after 3 months, killing all stages. Does the others do the same?
They are both 80pd dogs. Chesapeake Bay Retrievers/Lab Mix.

bucky asked: I see on Ebay that people are selling the Large Dog one big container of Frontline for small dogs. What they do is they give you a syringe to measure out the correct dosage for the small dog.
Example one container 4.02 mL = 6 monthly dosages of .67 mL for a small dog.
I just learned of this practice. Any opinions?

Cleoppa asked: I know in my county all dogs must be licensed, but I read a question a while back about licensing.
Are there cities and counties that DON’T require dogs to be licensed?

Megs asked: My roommate just adopted two hairless chinese crested dogs, besides being ugly, they have funky skin. I’ve read that they need to be bathed regularly but they have sensitive skin so I wasn’t sure if someone could recommend a shampoo or wash that would help them.
